What is main energy source which my descendant will use? Maybe their
main energy source will be renewable energy! The reason why I choose this topic
is my major in university is Material Science and main issue in this major is
renewable energy, in addition, I also have interest in renewable energy. Now days
many counties and enterprise invest in renewable energy and gradually they get
achievement. I choose 3 Article which are ‘German state aims to be powered
entirely by renewable energy’, ‘Half of Germany Is Now Powered by Solar Energy’
and ‘Massachusetts Pushing to Expand Electric Car Use’. Each article is related
to renewable energy which I want to study.
First article is
‘German state aims to be powered entirely by renewable energy’ in Jung
TaeJung’s blog project 2. From this article we can know Germany want to enforce
the growth of renewable energy project. The reason why I choose this article is
this article shows renewable energy is not a limited country’s which is in lack
of fossil but global issue! Of course, currently renewable energy has law converting
rate, such as converting from wind energy to electrical energy. However, along with
development of technology they can be used for commercial. To make higher rate
of converting many invest in research in needed. Whenever I hear about
articles, which about large investment, it makes me really want to go there and
study. Because, in Korean, government or enterprise has some tendency, such as
if there in not instant benefit, we do not invest! For me who want to be a
scientist, German is object of admiration.
Second article
is ‘Half of Germany Is Now Powered by Solar Energy’ in Park JaeMin’s blog
project 1. This article stated that German can get 50% of energy from solar
energy which is one of renewable energy. I can’t agree more about JaeMin’s
opinion. I think this phenomenon is the result of large investment and it makes
me choose this article. One of the big reason why we did not use renewable
energy, such as solar energy of wind, is its rate of conversion. However,
Germany can overcome this problem through invest and research. I’m really
envious of German researcher. From this article and when I was in Germany I can
feel and see government really make an effort to development of science.
Although they can’t get instant benefit from invest, they didn’t stop and
encourage scientist.
Last article is
‘Massachusetts Pushing to Expand Electric Car Use’ in Choi Rim’s blog project
3. This article announced about electric car, which is application of renewable
energy. My final goal, maybe for other scientist, is to make achievement of
using renewable energy. In fact, currently electrical vehicle is on investment,
but they can be commercialized in a few year. This is a result of development
of technology and shows renewable is not a far future, but close soon we can
see many electronic. Same as Rim’s opinion I’m very expecting 100% electric
car. Korea should fallow this technical stream and finally we have to lead this
stream. For the one student of related major and someone who want to study this
area, I really want Korea finally get high state of renewable energy. And to do
that, government and enterprise have to encourage and push politic like this
article.
Finally, maybe
our descendent will use renewable energy such as solar energy and wind farm.
First article shows the German’s effort to develop renewable energy. And,
second article is about achievement of German’s invest. Finally, last article
shows application of renewable energy. This 3 article stimulate me, and the one
of people, who are interested in this area, I really want to renewable can be
used commercially as soon as possible. Furthermore, I want to contribute to energy of my
descendant who will use renewable energy.
